Childcare: Reimagined

The development of The Coop was a highly collaborative process that brought together the talents and insights of fellow designers Kevin McGurn, Jamie Morris, Kat Sedlak, and Fe Ligerman. The Coop Childcare Co-Op is a community-driven model that transforms local spaces like libraries and rec centers into affordable, high-quality childcare hubs for children aged 0–5.

Focused on supporting low-income families, The Coop also offers training and income opportunities for aspiring and retired educators, fostering both early childhood development and professional growth. By tailoring each location to its neighborhood, The Coop strengthens community ties while maximizing public resources.
